Junior Awards Evening
We celebrated Junior cricket with our annual awards evening and very well attended it was.
Many enjoyed the hot buffet and over 100 people crowded together to hear Jason "Bili" Bilimoria give a very stirring speech about the healthy state of Junior cricket in our club.
The awards were presented by Bili and club chairman Paul King and Peter Wiseman, who awarded Charlie le Bosquet with the "Peter Wiseman Award" for the most outstanding young cricketer of 2007.

The raffle on the evening raised enough to cover the cost of the evening's excellent free buffet, and to contribute towards our "Hardnet Replacement Fund".
Many thanks to all those who worked so very hard to make the evening a success.
We have a thriving Junior membership of 200 players, who train and play
matches at our club. If you want to learn how to play cricket at Beckenham
then we have a wide range of options for all juniors from 6 to 16, boys
or girls. We compete in the North Kent Junior League and Cup competitions at all ages from Under 11;
for 2008 we have entered 7 league teams and 4 cup sides.
A number of our juniors also play for Bromley and Lewisham Districts and for Kent and Surrey at County level.
The 2008 season starts in April with weekly coaching, holiday courses, summer camps, matches and junior cricket social events throughout the summer. We also have a winter programme of hard ball nets.
We welcome new members at all age groups and abilities. Read a provisional 2008 Calendar of events and training dates. These are subject to change and updates so please check this site often for updates and news.

The highlights for 2007 were the B&SCC U12 team winning the Harry Bright Cup and one of our U13 sides winning their NKJL division.
The Under 9s compete in the KCB organised festival.
